What Impact Does the Introduction of Flipped Learning have on Learners’ Experience of the GCSE Maths Resit Course?
In 2020-2021 we implemented Flipped Learning into the GCSE mathematics resit Scheme of Work at Nelson and Colne College Group.
348 students took part across 2 campuses.
Results show student confidence was higher when learners completed Flipped Learning prior to lessons.
Recommendations:
- Up front investment into teacher’s skills and understanding of Flipped Learning.
- Tasks must better reflect the resit learner journey.
